Oscar Cerezales, born in Spain, has been working in the meetings industry for more than 20 years. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Directors for PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) as well as Board Member for the Latin American Association of Convention Bureaus. Oscar has also been a member of the Board of Directors for chapters of MPI International. Oscar currently works at MCI Group, a company with 59 offices in 29 counties and is dedicated to the organization of congresses and corporate events, consulting and strategic management for companies and associations. MCI Group organizes more than 5,000 events annually with a turnover of more than $450 million. After managing MCI Spain, Oscar moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil to manage MCI throughout the Americas region. He currently resides in Singapore and manages the Asia-Pacific region as well as overall direction of association relations for MCI. Oscar has been a professor at universities in Barcelona, London, and Milan. In addition to collaborating with various industry publications. He is the father of three children.

I started my career within ICCA three years ago as Events Assistant and am now Events Manager within the ICCA events department. I'm responsible for several of our events, including the Association Expert Seminar (AES), Research, Sales and Marketing Programme (RSMP) and Forum for Young professionals (FYP). My responsibilities for the above events vary from speaker management and education to logistics such as F&B, social events and sourcing meeting space. I also work with our team on other ICCA events such as our annual Congress. Well known as one of the leading figures of the meetings industry in Australia, Elizabeth has over 30 years experience in business events, as an association manager, conference organizer, trainer and writer through her own company Agenda Pty Ltd. Since its formation in 1994 until August 2011, Elizabeth was the Chief Executive of the Business Events Industry Council of Australia (BECA), a peak advocacy body representing the meetings, incentives and exhibition industry. Elizabeth has in-depth knowledge of the development of the meetings industry in Australia and is a keen observer of the global market. Elizabeth's background includes a 10 year period as chief executive of the Meetings Industry Association of Australia (MEA). She regularly presents at industry conferences and training programs, and manages the ICCA Forum for Young Professionals at AIME each year. In addition she is a contributor to MICEnet trade magazine for both the Australian and Asian editions. In 2008 Elizabeth joined the Faculty of the International College of Management Sydney. She also sits on the Industry Advisory Board for the School of Tourism & Hospitality, Southern Cross University, Australia. Martin Sirk has been Chief Executive Officer of ICCA since July 2002.  From 1989 he worked for a variety of ICCA member organisations specialising in the international meetings field, after having started his career in general tourism marketing with the British Tourist Authority (now known as VisitBritain).  He has worked in the USA and Asia as well as his home country, the UK, and is now responsible for ICCA's strategic direction and for the operation of its Head Office in Amsterdam and regional offices in Africa, Asia Pacific, Middle East, North America and South America.

Since taking over as CEO, Martin has overseen ICCA’s growth from 600 to over 900 member companies and organisations in 87 countries worldwide, covering all the key supplier sectors.  The flagship ICCA Congress, which rotates around the world and attracts senior industry executives as delegates, is now firmly established as one of the most important thought-leadership forums in the global meetings industry calendar.

Martin has worked in a national tourist authority, a city convention bureau, has directed convention centres, was head-hunted by Hilton to carry out the sales and marketing launch of what was then Europe's second-largest specialist meetings hotel, and has consulted for PCO's and a variety of tourism organisations, a background that uniquely helps him understand ICCA members’ vast range of business cultures and working environments.  

Married with one son, Martin lives in Amsterdam but spends much of his time travelling and meeting with ICCA’s members in all regions of the world.
